  • Introduction

    The B4 S BiTurbo Edition 99 was launched in October 2018. This model is based on the Cabrio and Coupe versions of the B4 S BiTurbo, complimented with parts unique to this model.

    Available colors are Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Alpina Blue II, Individual Grigio Medio and Fire Orange.

    Production is limited to 99 units.

    Engine/Gearbox

    The engine is similar to the regular B4 S BiTurbo. A titanium exhaust with carbon trim from Akrapovič offers a weight reduction of 7kg on the standard B4 S BiTurbo exhaust. It also provides an increased output of 12hp over the standard B4 S BiTurbo. The engine produces 452hp and 680Nm torque between 3000-4500rpm.

    Optionally available is a limited slip differential from Drexler.

    Suspension/Brakes/Wheels

    The suspension setup is similar to the regular B4 S BiTurbo.

    The Coupe has substantially revised Alpina Sport Plus suspension for improved agility and driving dynamics. Front and rear body reinforcements from the F33 convertible and F80 M3 increase torsional stiffness significantly for direct chassis response and feedback. Auxiliary springs, bushings and stabilisers with increased spring rates as well as new, stiffer rear stabilizer bar and connecting links reduce body roll.

    The wheels are similar to the regular B4 S BiTurbo, finished in Ferric Grey.

    Interior/Exterior

    As standard the Edition 99 models feature black Merino leather with Alcantara Anthracite interior. The Cabrio versions come with with extended leather Merino upholstery in Black, Gold Brown, Cashmere Beige, Nutmeg or Opal White. It includes a black leather instrument panel and upper door panels as standard. Additionally the seat side panels and seatbacks are also hand finished in leather Merino.

    Piano black trim with Edition 99 lettering are also unique to the Edition 99. As a unique alternative are Alcantara Anthracite or Carbon Leather interior trim are optionally available. Other unique details include Switchtronic shift paddles in matt black.

    A non-cost option is classic Alpina decor on the front spoiler and sides of the car. For the Edition 99 the available colors are matt blue or matt black.

    Optionally is possible to combine the exterior paintwork Fire Orange with a Heritage Design option. Hereby selected body panels (bonnet, roof, boot) are finished in Anthracite automotive wrap to create a two-tone color design.

    The production number of each Edition 99 model is shown on the production plaque and in the engine compartment.

    Performance

    Acceleration from 0-100kph is 4,2 seconds.

    Top speed for the Cabrio is 303kph and 306kph for the Coupe version.
