In 2005, the B3 S Coupe 40th Anniversary was introduced by Nicole to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Alpina.

Technical specifications are based on the B3 S.

Many additional factory options were included as standard which provided excellent value for money.

The B3 S Coupe 40th Anniversary features the following modifications:
* interior plaque with “40th Anniversary” model designation
* Exterior color Alpinablau II with silver dekor
* Interior in Grey Lavalina leather/white Alcantara

The 40th Anniversary model was only produced in 2005.

Originally, a series of 40 pieces was announced, however it seems unlikely more than 20 examples were built.
