The article is a testdrive of the B5 about 3 months before the official launch at Geneva 2005. Included are many interesting details such as a schematic drawing of the ASA-Radialverdichter and a brief description of the additional throttle which allows the B5 engine to act as a normally aspirated engine at low engine loads. Additionally, it is mentioned that (at that time) Alpina was still considering limiting the B5 to 300kph. The B5 is seen as very cultivated and a true alternative to the M5. |
