The B6 S is the most powerful 6-series ever made. The stability even at topspeed (318kph) is very impressive. The main difference between the B6 and the B6 S is described as being optimisation of the variable valvetiming. This reduced the combustion and exhaust temperatures, leading to an additional 30hp. The conclusion is that the B6 S has no real competition - the CL63 AMG is much more expensive and heavier, the XKR has much less power. |
