In the USA, BMW models that are unique to Europe are viewed as very desirable due to their unattainable status. It is rumoured that BMWNA tried to order 500 B7's from Alpina in 2005 but that this was not possible due to production restraints.

The B7 makes a big impression on the author due to the power and suspension. Some technical details about the engine and suspension are provided. Additionally, it is mentioned that the brakes are sourced from the Middle-East specification 760IL, complimented with brake ducting and ABS software modifications. Some information is provided about the production process as well. The B7 is especially complimented as feeling made from one piece.

The testdrive of the Roadster S impresses the author even more due to the change of character of the Z4. Some technical details about the engine and suspension are provided. It is mentioned the brakes are sourced from the E46 330Ci (front) and E46 325i (rear) complimented with ABS software modifications. The Roadster S is complimented as being the best Z4 variant yet - considering that the Z4M has not been introduced yet.
"Unlike the standard Z4 or its many tuner derivatives, the Roadster S has been engineered for real roads instead of the racetrack, and that makes all the difference."
